About Me

The picture to the right was last Mother's Day. I had the whole world in my hands and more love than I could have ever imagined. Ava was 8 and Weston was 7. Just 18 months apart the were each others best friend and my everything.

On June 16, 2016 my whole life changed forever. While swimming in our friends backyard pool, Weston slipped under. He spent the next two days in a coma fighting for his life. Then on June 18, 2016 Weston went to be with God in Heaven.

​

Weston was a fighter and the strongest little boy I have ever met. He battled Epilepsy and was non-verbal Autistic. Through out his seven year Weston loved life and enjoyed every minute of his time here on Earth. He taught me more about life than any book, any adult ever could. His life was a beautiful story that needs to be told. His death was a tragedy to us, but through organ donation, a miracle to six others.

I invite you to follow my journey through life living as a mother to an angel. My hope is that this blog may reach anyone that may need to hear his story. I hope that this gives you strength, faith, hope, love, or whatever it may be that you are looking for.
